Hey there! I’m Lindsay, the self-taught metalsmith and founder of Lilac Sky Studio. From my sunlit home studio in Lincoln, Nebraska, I craft one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces.
Prior to diving into the professional realm of artistry and entrepreneurship, I spent several fulfilling years in the healthcare field, specializing in neurosurgery. Despite the challenges and rewards of that career, my heart was always drawn to creative pursuits. Fueled by a deep appreciation for artistic expression and a love for bringing ideas to life, I made a bold decision to embark on a new adventure – one that merges my passion for art with my love for nature.
While I’ve always enjoyed experimenting with various mediums, I’ve chosen metal and natural gemstones to serve both as my canvas and color palette. What captivates me most about these stones is their timeless origin, formed over thousands to millions of years ago. Now, as I work with them, their ancient narrative intertwines with that of both myself and you as the wearer, creating a connection in a shared journey that celebrates both individuality and the beauty of nature. Meet George, the Chief Officer of Pawsitivity! This sweet, freckle-faced cutie keeps the studio atmosphere light and fun, ensuring that every piece is made with love and a wagging tail of approval. George's favorite duties include providing endless cuddles, napping on the job, and occasionally inspecting new designs with a curious sniff! When he's not on the clock, he enjoys hammock time, dipping his toes in the water, and going on adventures to get pup cups from local coffee shops.
